3 Winners = 3 Books to Be Signed & Delivered!

Thanks to everyone who participated in the Generation T giveaway over the weekend!

Without further ado, the three winners are: Ginger, who especially loves the scarves. She volunteers for a thrift store that benefits victims of domestic violence, sexual assault, and other crimes; they get so many T-shirts that aren’t claimed, so Ginger refashions them into scarves! Jessica, who loves the Mohawk Mo’ Rock hat (in Generation T: Beyond Fashion) and is raring to make some more! And last but not least, Dio, who’s been so obsessed with the Pinup Girl halter top that she’s made about four of them, and adores her Tie, Tie, Again convertible dress (both from Generation T: Beyond Fashion) that she constructed using three Paranormal Activity T-shirts and two plain black ones in honor of the approaching Halloween.

Ginger, Jessica, and Dio: Please email Megan (megan at generation-t.com) with your mailing address, which book you’d like to receive (Generation T or Generation T: Beyond Fashion), and, if you’d like to it to be signed, to whom it should be autographed (i.e. is it a gift or are you keeping it for yourself?).

T-shirt Riddle Answer — We Have a Winner!

And the winner of the Generation T birthday giveaway, with the correct answer that Megan has 18 black T-shirts, 11 red T-shirts, and 6 white T-shirts (if W represents the number of white T-shirts that Megan owns, then we can make the equation W + (W+5) + 3W = 35. Solving, W = 6) is Nancy Cluff! (Of course, now Megan has one less white T-shirt since it’s going into the prize pack to Nancy, but I suppose that’s the trick answer…)

Thanks to all who played and stretched your brains — well over 30 total correct answers were submitted! The next giveaway happens when the Generation T Facebook community page hits 3,000–so please spread the word to your T-shirt refashioning friends who might like to join the ranks!

The Winners!

Thank you so much to everyone who entered the Facebook fan giveaway! Thank you to all who make things with your hands. Thank you for your patience while I was busy cooking a massive Thanksgiving feast for friends and family (and fixing a website database glitch that prevented me from logging on yesterday!). And thank you for sharing what wonderful things you’re thankful for these past few days:

Patience and understanding, thimbles shaped like watering cans, crafty families, beautiful golden leaves outside, long weekends, things you’ve learned, dance, chocolate, a warm place to sleep, friends…and more!

Congratulations to our two winners Nicole (who is thankful for “my BFF/sister, best-est supporter of all my crazy ideas!”) and Alison (who is “thankful for my sweet baby boy”), who each win a copy of either Generation T or Generation T: Beyond Fashion (winner’s choice!), a pair of Generation T scissors (for all their T-shirt refashioning needs), and one “A T-shirt is a Terrible Thing to Waste” T-shirt.
