Arizona strikes again! I visited my third TV studio this morning, Sonoran Living Live (ABC) with host Stephanie Sandoval, where we taped a segment to air later in July.

We taped a segment for Good Morning Arizona (KTVK-TV) this morning. Will post a video when it goes live!

This morning was busy here in hot-hot-hot Phoenix! First stop Fox 10 News (KSAZ-TV)  with hosts Rick D’Amico and Alexis Del Chiaro for some T-shirt transformation. Scroll down for the video! (And hold out for the Brooklyn shout-out at the end…)

Early this morning I joined host Katherine Kisiel on KTBC-TV “Good Day Austin” to refashion a Pinup Girl halter top (project #1, yet again!). I’ll be at Book People tonight at 7 pm to transform some more T-shirts! (P.S. The birds-eye camera view is a little hard to see because of the black T-shirt on black table surface–sorry, we didn’t know the color in advance!)

Here I am with host Stacey Baca after we transformed a T-shirt bright and early on “Saturday Morning” ABC 7 News in Chicago. Favorite color red, anyone? And there are the projects in a teaser on the nearby TV monitor. Next stop Austin, TX. Stay tuned…

My Chicago media person, Judy, was nice enough to clip this piece from yesterday’s Chicago Sun-Times (“For DIY Divas: How to Reuse a T-shirt”)–a nice little blurb about the book and the event at Barnes & Noble at the Old Orchard Center tomorrow (Friday) night!

Woke up bright and early for a segment in Dayton, Ohio, with host Kylie Conway on Fox 45 “In the Morning.” Here we are, setting up on set:

Next stop today was the studios of Northern Kentucky Magazine. We did a great segment, but they don’t post their shows online, so here are a couple still photos to document–hopefully will have some video soon to add. Here’s me with host Nancy James before the segment: We’re about to transform that bland ole New York tee into a sassy halter top (project #1, featured on the cover of the book):

And here’s me having fun with the mirror overhead (we used the kitchen on set as our craft area–it’s usually used for cooking segments actually, but with a blanket thrown over the stove top, it works just perfectly). You know, just in case you wanted a bird’s-eye view!
